Milverton, Ontario – Kyle Steckly is set to make his NASCAR Pinty’s Series debut with 22 Racing during the series’ Western swing in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The 17-year-old resident of Milverton, Ontario has an extensive resume behind the wheel, with experience racing Micro Sprints, Junior Late Models, Mini Stocks, and most recently Pro Late Models. Under the guidance of his father, four-time NASCAR Pinty’s Series Champion Scott Steckly, Kyle feels that he is now ready to make the next step in his racing career.

The launch of Steckly’s NASCAR Pinty’s Series career will have continuing support from APC Auto Parts Centres and CANUSA as well as all of their supporters, and long-time 22 Racing sponsors AW Millwrights and Erb Transport who have played a key role in Kyle’s racing journey. Additionally, Kyle will be bringing on new sponsor WingN’It Restaurants. WingN’It restaurants can be found all across Canada, featuring a wide variety of delicious food and specializing in chicken wings.

Without the support and commitment from Steckly’s numerous sponsors, his venture into this highly competitive division would not be possible.

“I’m really happy to carry over the partnership with APC Auto Parts Centres and CANUSA to the Pinty’s Series and excited to create a new relationship with WingN’It Restaurants. I’m really thankful for all of my sponsors' support in making this opportunity possible,” says Steckly.

In 2021, Steckly made a name for himself being crowned the Flamboro Speedway Pro Late Model Champion. In the 2022 Delaware Weekly Series and APC United Late Model Series Steckly has already amassed 1 win and 6 top-five finishes. Being no stranger to oval tracks, Steckly’s experience and adaptability is sure to come into play during this new adventure.

Kyle Steckly will be joining Alex Tagliani and Treyten Lapcevich in the 22 Racing paddock out in Saskatoon. Bringing back his father’s famed No. 22, Kyle will be driving the No. 22 APC Auto Parts Centres / CANUSA / WingN’It Chevrolet Camaro.

“I’m really looking forward to making my NASCAR Pinty’s Series debut with 22 Racing at Sutherland Automotive Speedway. I’ve been around Pinty’s cars all my life so I’m excited to get the opportunity to race one myself. Hopefully we can make a couple more starts in the 2022 season,” says Steckly.

In the start of what is sure to be a long NASCAR Pinty’s Series racing career, Kyle is looking for some solid finishes from the double Leland 125s at Sutherland Automotive Speedway’s ⅜ mile paved oval in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This double-header takes place on Wednesday, July 27th at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. EST, and can be watched LIVE on TSN.ca.

Blainville, Quebec – Louis-Philippe Montour, driving the #13 Kamloop | GL electric-automation car prepared by Dumoulin Competition, will be on track for the first time at the Honda Indy Toronto this Friday, July 15. The 2.8 km urban layout wraps around Exhibition Place and will also host the NASCAR Pinty's Series, as well as the IndyCar and several other series.

“This will be my first race on the Toronto street. I'm looking forward to this event,” said Louis-Philippe Montour. The Blainville native is familiar with the NASCAR Pinty's Series after driving a well-planned and error-free race through the pack, from a 21st starting position to a 5th place finish in last May's Pinty's event at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP).

“Dumoulin Competition continued to work on the car so that we would be ready for our second event of the season,” added Louis-Philippe Montour. “Following the result of my last race at CTMP, I am confident that we will start the coming race with a front-running car.”

As the track is unfamiliar territory to him, Louis-Philippe Montour will be conservative at first to familiarize himself with the layout. Friday morning's combined practice / qualifying session, lasting 1 hour and 20 minutes, will force the teams to work out the best possible race as well as qualifying and end-of-race set-ups, while having to decide on tire selection (new or used) for different phases of the session and the race. The complex decisions taken by the teams and the skills of the drivers to adapt to changing track and car handling conditions will also determine the outcome of the race.

“My goal is to finish in the top 5. We have the car and the team to get there. We'll just have to manage our brakes and tires, be patient, and attack in the last 10 laps,” concluded the driver of the #13 Kamloop | GL electric-automation car.

Prior to the event, fans will have the opportunity to meet the NASCAR Pinty's drivers during an autograph session at 1:30 p.m.

Dumoulin Competition can count on Kamloop's support to keep the team healthy throughout the season.

In addition to the on-track partnership, Louis-Philippe Montour and Dumoulin Competition also work together on the team's logistics. In fact, Kamloop products will allow the team to optimize the food-related processes and provide even fresher nourishment during the events. You can read the full article here.

"I’m really excited to be going to Delaware Speedway with the APC Series, I’ve ran at Delaware a lot this year. We took our APC Auto Parts / CANUSA / Qwick Wick Chevrolet Camaro there last week and had a lot of speed. The crew and I got to work this week to make sure the car was looking good for this weekend. Hopefully we can have a clean race and come out with the win,” Kyle said.

Kyle Steckly scored a hard fought 2nd place in round 4 of the APC Late Model Series at Delaware.

Milverton, Ontario – Kyle Steckly and his team secured another podium finish on Saturday night.

Kyle and his No. 22 APC Auto Parts / CANUSA / Qwick Wick Chevrolet Camaro traveled to Delaware, Ontario Saturday night for the fourth round of the APC United Late Model Series. This Canada Day event saw a packed crowd for some great nights of racing. Kyle had the 2nd fastest time in practice and finished 4th in qualifying. Kyle started the Spectra Premium 100 3rd after the invert. Kyle got stuck in some bad lanes on restarts and was shuffled back to 7th. He spent most of the race trying to battle back in a very talented and difficult-to-pass field. With a couple of late race restarts and accidents, Kyle chased down the leader and was able to finish 2nd.

"Had a good day at Delaware Speedway, made a lot of adjustments throughout the day trying to find what would work the best, but just couldn’t seem to get a handle on the car. We ran around 6th or 7th most of the night and got shuffled back on a couple of the restarts, but made a late race push and got up to 2nd with 5 to go. I think I might have had something for the leader if there were a few more laps. I have to thank my crew for all of their hard work on the car all day and all my sponsors for their continued support. Still looking for that first win of the season, but I feel that we are getting closer,” Kyle said.

After this race Kyle is 3rd in the APC United Late Model Series points standings.

Next Kyle will race in the Delaware Weekly Series at Delaware Speedway on Friday, July 8th. Kyle's previous races can be viewed on the Rogers TV London YouTube Channel and GForceTV Youtube Channel.
