Ohsweken, Ontario – Ohsweken Speedway's 19th annual Opening Night will take the green flag on Friday, May 16 at 7:30pm, and large fields are expected in all of the regular Friday night divisions. The opening event of Ohsweken's season will include the Corr/Pak Merchandising 360 Sprint Cars, Strickland's GMC Crate Sprint Cars, Affordable Towing & Recovery Thunder Stocks, HRW Automotive Mini Stocks, and Gale's Auto Aftermarket Bombers, with extra-distance features scheduled for each.

Caistor Centre, Ontario – Ryan Turner finally got good weather for both his scheduled races last weekend, and turned that opportunity into the first top 10 finish of his DIRTcar Sportsman Modified career. Brother Cory and father Jamie weren't as lucky, as the Test & Tune session at Ohsweken Speedway was rained out on Friday.

Ohsweken, Ontario –The roster for Ohsweken Speedway's new Strickland's GMC Crate Sprint Car division continues to grow in advance of Opening Night on May 16. The latest name on that list is two-time Thunder Stock division champion Mike Thorne, while his girlfriend Laura Hughes takes over the team's Affordable Towing and Recovery Thunder Stock division driving duties.
